Staff were friendly and accommodating. Instead of choosing valet parking we parked around the corner via the valet's suggestion at a lot which was more convenient for us. After we checked out but before picking up our car for the day we were allowed to use the locked lobby restroom. (Thanks guys!! Much appreciated!) The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was convenient and satisfactory. As we mostly walked around the city we found that the hotel's location was fantastic.

An excellent stay. THe hotel was within a comfortable walking distance from the Amtrak station where my hiusband and I arrived from Boston. Check-in was fine, room excellent - spacious and well set out. The king bed was super comfortable. Where can I order one of those??! We very much appreciated and enjoyed the breakfast provided. There were hot and cold offerings, cereals, juices, fruit - whole and in a salad, breads/bagels, cakes etc.

historic building, great location, exceptional staff. about $6-10 Uber ride to convention center. hotel has shuttle to/from pvd airport. tons of local restaurants. basic rooms but clean and well stocked. coffee always available downstairs. did I mention exceptional staff?

My husband and I took a trip to downtown providence for 3 nights and 4 days. We love that is is a stones throw away from tons of attractions. Staff very friendly and accommodating, we ended up staying and extra night last minute and there was zero issues. Check in and out took under a minute. Valet parking very convenient! Clean rooms, good view of the streets around you. Also the complimentary breakfast was so convenient and a lot to choose from. We would definitely stay here again and again! Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites downtown Providence!

Great location. Very clean. They were very accommodating when I couldn't sleep and called down at almost 11pm for more pillows. Someone brought them up immediately to my room. Never had to wait for the elevator. It's fast!

Able to check in to room just after lunch so could spend the afternoon exploring the city. Good room with all necessary facilities. Great location just across the river from Brown University and Benefit Street. We had a fantastic meal at Hemenways Restaurant which was about 5 minutes walk away across the river. Hot water and coffee available in reception. Check out was 11am so we were able to go to the State House before we left.

The room was a surprise: large and spacious, bordering on too big. The service staff was very kind and easy to talk to. The breakfast was ample, though missing an option here or there. The parking was right next door(I used the private lot because my vehicle was too large). The location downtown was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay in Providence, the staff at the hotel were SO lovely, really friendly & accommodating, some of the nicest we met during our travels. The room worked well for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and the location was excellent. The parking was easy as well and there was the option got valet parking for $30/day or $23/day for self parking in the same car park. Nice that breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice to suit all of us.
